These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply when you use theartofpractice.com (the “Site”) and when you buy the book The Art of Practice by Laido Dittmar, in any edition, together with anything offered with it on the Site. The seller is Gafarova Tanzilia, a Hungarian sole proprietor (egyéni vállalkozó) trading as The Art of Practice (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

The Site sells The Art of Practice: Same Effort, Twice the Progress, Any Skill, in the editions and bundles shown when sales are open. Depending on the edition, an order can include the paperback, the ebook (prepared with your name in it), the audiobook, access to The Art of Practice community, and, with the 100-book bundle, a private session with Laido. The checkout page lists exactly what your chosen edition includes before you pay. Add-ons offered at checkout are included only if you tick them.
The book is not on sale year-round. When sales are closed, you can join the waiting list and we will email you when they open.
You must be at least 16 years of age to buy on the Site. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your contract with us is concluded when your payment is confirmed. The contract is in English. We keep a record of your order and your invoice; you can ask us for a copy at any time. Your receipt and invoice are sent to you by email.
If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom and buy as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, as follows.
How to cancel. Tell us before the 14 days run out, by email to support@theartofpractice.com from the email address you ordered with, or by post to the address in section 1. Any clear statement of your decision is enough; you may use the model form below but do not have to. We confirm receipt by email without undue delay.
What happens next. We refund all payments we received for the canceled items, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the payment method you paid with, unless you expressly agree otherwise. If the paperback came in a bundle with digital items, we refund the paperback’s share of the bundle price plus the standard delivery cost; the digital items stay yours and are not refunded. For a paperback we may wait until we have received it back, or you have sent us proof of posting it, whichever is first. Send the paperback back to Gafarova Tanzilia, Szondi utca 2/A, 1201 Budapest, Hungary, within 14 days of telling us that you cancel. You pay the cost of returning it. You are only responsible for any reduction in the value of the paperback caused by handling it more than is needed to check it.

These statutory rights sit alongside our own Refund Policy and are not reduced by it.
You have the legal rights of a consumer if what you receive is faulty, damaged, or not as described. In the EU, the legal guarantee of conformity for the paperback lasts two years from delivery; digital items must conform to their description for as long as you have access to them. If there is a problem, email us: for a damaged paperback, send a photo and we will send a replacement at no cost; if a digital file does not open or does not match its description, we fix it or replace it. If a replacement is not possible, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund. These rights exist by law and are not affected by these Terms.
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to read and listen to the book for your own use. Your ebook and audiobook are prepared for you and may carry your name. You may not share, copy, distribute, resell, upload, or publicly display them, share your library sign-in with anyone, or use the book or any part of it to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence models.
The methodology in the book, including the Naturals Method, the Practice Progress Pyramid, the 90% Consistency Rule, the Skill Waterfall, and all associated frameworks, diagrams, and terminology, is the intellectual property of Laido Dittmar and The Art of Practice, protected by copyright (US Copyright Office application no. 1-15142943251, filed April 15, 2026) and international intellectual property law. You may use it for your own practice and share general concepts in conversation with attribution, and quote brief passages in reviews as fair use allows. You may not build courses, workshops, books, apps, or coaching services on it, or offer it commercially, without a written license. For licensing inquiries, contact support@theartofpractice.com. Unauthorized use may lead to the ending of your access and to legal action.
When you buy, we send you the emails your order needs: your receipt and invoice, your sign-in details, and your download links. As a reader you may also receive occasional emails from Laido about the book and closely related products. You can unsubscribe from those at any time with the link in any such email; this does not affect the emails needed to deliver what you bought. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you have a complaint, contact us at support@theartofpractice.com with a description of the issue and your purchase email. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to give you a substantive answer within 30 days.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or Hungary and we are unable to resolve your complaint directly, you may use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Hungarian conciliation board system (békéltető testület). These are independent bodies operating alongside the chambers of commerce; you may turn to the board competent for your own place of residence or stay. A list of the boards and their contact details is available at bekeltetes.hu. Use of a conciliation board is voluntary, and nothing in this clause limits your right to bring a claim before the competent courts or to contact the consumer protection authority in your country.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent breach, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you.
The book is educational content about practice and skill acquisition. Results depend on you and your circumstances; we do not promise any particular result. Our Disclaimer explains this in more detail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country as well as in Hungary.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes do not apply to a purchase you have already made; the version in effect when you ordered governs that order.
